For the ones who had trouble getting the Panna Cotta out of the dishes. I highly recommend trying a silicone muffin pan. They piece of work bang-up.

Awesome recipe! I take used information technology several times over the concluding few weeks. For anyone having problems with the gelatine separating, I solved this by cooling the mixture down completely earlier pouring it into the ramekins. But put information technology into a jug and keep information technology moving over iced water until it'south cooled downwardly to room temperature. The quicker you lot become it cooled, the quicker it will ready - meaning less time for separation :)

YES! Add together VANILLA AT THE END, AFTER REMOVING FROM THE Oestrus(MY SUBMITTED RECIPE STATED THIS). Likewise, I RECOMMEND STIRRING CONSTANTLY WHILE COOKING THE CREAM AND Carbohydrate. Some other GOOD EXTRACTS: Orangish, LEMON AND ALMOND.
01/02/2008
Perfect recipe. I did apply two cups of heavy cream with one/2 loving cup of half and half because this is what I had in the refrigerator. I also made mine in muffin tins which I greased with olive oil (did not affect the dessert fifty-fifty a niggling bit) and then I topped them with hot fudge. This recipe made 8 1/2 panna cottas for me in the muffin tins.

I made this recipe equally-is, and served with mixed fruits (strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries) on acme. To get them out of the glass ramekins, I dipped them into warm water for just a few seconds, ran a knife around the edge, and turned them upside downwards on the plate. Beautiful presentation, sure to impress your guests - it did mine! I recollect side by side fourth dimension I will utilise lemon excerpt in the custard instead of the vanilla for a different flavor; I come across countless flexibility with this recipe!
12/21/2005
This is dangerously skilful. It's my favorite dessert at my favorite Italian eating place. Next fourth dimension I will add a footling more than milk as the consistency was a little besides jell-o like. I will also subtract the sugar to about i/3 loving cup, it was pretty sweetness. I would definitely serve to guests. Thanks Cheryl for posting this recipe!

Fantabulous recipe - thanks for submitting it. I've been using it for months now and I haven't found one person who doesn't absolutely dear it! I serve it with fresh strawberries tossed and marinated briefly in a bit of brown saccharide and one thousand marnier.
06/01/2009
I made a recipe with very like ingredients but different directions - this may help those having problems with gelatin separating. Cascade the milk/cream you are using into the bucket and sprinkle gelatin over information technology. Let that stand for 10 min. Then go to estrus information technology, but only heat it until the boiling point then remove from heat and stir in saccharide, vanilla, etc. Yous can use much less carbohydrate for a good result - 1/4 cup per 2 cups of liquid.
07/05/2010
While this was good, information technology was way too sweet. I but got back from Italy and they make information technology with far less sugar. The sweetness on theirs came from sweetened berries on top.
03/xix/2006
sliced fresh strawberries on top are the best compliment to this fantstic dessert. just exist sure to add together the vanilla listed in the ingredients department, merely left out in directions. i add together the vanilla after the cooking is done - correct earlier i cascade information technology into the serving dishes.
04/27/2007
Simply succulent! And easy to make. Smooth and creamy. This is a desert you could practice a lot with. Springle coccoa on top, encompass with berries, sweet chutney, nuts, chocolate sprinkles, etc.
04/x/2009
This was the hit of the evening. It came out of the molds easily and was gorgeous not to mention flossy, rich and decadent. I used one/ii cup skim, ane cup heavy cream and the rest whole milk. Also, I used dear instead of sugar to make it encounter a friends dietary needs. I would highly recommend the honey! Information technology was wonderful! Even my non-cooking guests desired this recipe and ate every seize with teeth after groaning that they had no room for desert! Don't douse it with chocolate sauce, simply serve it with a slice of fruit and allow the sweet dairy shine through!
12/07/2010
Fantabulous and Easy!. Some tips: -Do Non boil; only simmer lightly. -Skim milk is key in helping gelatin to deliquesce. -When pouring into ramekins, use fine strainer to filter un-dissolved gelatin. -To empty ramekin in 1 piece, just set up information technology in a shallow pan of HOT water for a few seconds and flip onto serving dish. Works every time. Delicious. Blueprint your own topping. Fresh fruits are best. I like to add together lemon juice to balance all the saccharide.

Really great recipe! I have had to make some chages due to diet restrictions. I take family memebers who can merely have not-fat dairy. This does turn out well with fat-free half and half but I take found that it does not set up the same, it will be alot more than jiggly! I have also made this for low carb with splenda. If using splenda I would suggest adding it afterwards you lot stir in the gelatin and and so add extract. Brand certain to soften the gelitin in water if you utilise all cream. Likewise this is great using coconut milk. I used a whole can. I poured it into a measuring cup toped off to two cups w/ cream then added the other i/2 cup of cream. Finished information technology off with about 1/4 - one/2 tsp. coconut extract and vanilla extract. Only gustatory modality tested till I got the correct flavor. Almond extract is also very expert in this recipe if you are making the vanilla version. I have also fabricated with a whole vanilla edible bean. Just split the bean and put the seeds and the pod in while heating the cream so remove pod before stirring in the gelatin. I also always add about a i/iv tsp. of salt to foam while heating.
08/26/2009
This was really really adept. I actually only used 1c of heavy cream and used 2% milk in place of the residue of the milk and foam called for, only because thats all I had. It turned out perfect! So creamy and rich, yous wouldn't think I had altered it at all. At to the lowest degree it was a piddling healthier I approximate. I served information technology with slices of ripe strawberries. I'1000 going to effort making a sauce with strawberries & chocolate-brown sugar and see how that goes. I plan to experiment with this recipe. Merely awesome as is.
05/25/2008
This is a slap-up recipe, very rich and creamy. I avoid turn out troubles by serving it in wine glasses, it's very bonny that way too. I height it with a berry compote I make. I employ frozen berries (a mix of blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries is my favorite), cook them downwardly and mash them up a niggling, add carbohydrate and lemon juice to gustation and add only a touch of cream after they are off the oestrus to requite them a neat night purple color. Looks very pretty on top of the white panna cotta in the wine drinking glass.
10/x/2010
I followed the recipe, however before pouring it into ramekins, I put it in a basin on peak of ice cold water and stirred it until it cooled to room temperature. Then I poured it into ramekins, covered in plastic wrap and put in the fridge. I had it the next morn with diminished raspberries and it was the perfect texture and flavor. No separation. Succulent and easy to make. Adjacent time I'm going to make a mango compote.
10/04/2012
Loved this. I doubled the recipe and it worked out fine. I took strawberries that I had sliced with saccharide, put about 6-vii raspberry on top of that & finished with whip cream. I fabricated them in dessert glasses. My only regret was adjusting the recipe past adding vanilla bean. The edible bean by and large settled in the bottom of each dessert drinking glass. I will stick to the recipe equally written. I did put the pot in ice water while cooling it down, stirring the whole time. Merely took a few minutes to cool this fashion.
03/24/2011
Fresh cream was on sale for half price today at my coop, and being a sucker for all things rich I couldn't pass it upwardly...but and then, what to practice with information technology? Oh my goodness. This panna cotta recipe is specatcular! Honestly, I would accept liked to cascade information technology into a loving cup and drink it straight up...I don't even know how the concluding gear up result is, yet, but I imagine information technology is phenomenal. I used 2 cups cream and 1 cup milk. I dissolved the gelatin in i/2 loving cup milk and mixed the other half into the foam and sugar (I used 1/iii cup -- yet a bit as well sweet mabye? will use 1/4 cup side by side time). To rest the sweetness I merely added a compression of salt to the mixture. Perfect. I added the gelatin to the cream equally shortly equally it softened into the cold milk. Then I didn't have the patience to bring it all the fashion to a boil, so I stopped when the mixture was steaming and silky smooth, whisking all the fashion. I used the recommended vanilla, then couldn't resist i/four tsp. almond equally well. Astonishing! I cannot Look to swallow this upwardly!!
11/07/2011
This is so good! Better than the start time I had it, and that was prepared by Italian chefs! I used this recipe to fill about 100 small chocolate dessert shells for a cocktail reception. Beyond succulent - I will be making this again, and shortly, merely full sized.
07/22/2011
Very tasty. I fabricated a few adjustments. First, I used fat free half/half instead of skim mild. I likewise used canned kokosnoot milk instead of the heavy foam and coconut extract instead of the vanilla extract. I served information technology with toasted coconut and crushed pineapple. It was very good.
11/29/2008
Absolutely Delicious! My merely problem is where a previous reviewer (coinmaster) suggests: "Just put it into a jug and keep information technology moving over iced h2o until it'due south cooled down to room temperature." DO NOT cascade it into a glass jug. Trust me on this. My drinking glass jug exploded in the ice and I had a HUGE mess to deal with. Never, ever (and I had forgotten this) employ heat with drinking glass and ice. Bad combination. I re-made it after an hour-long clean upwards and another trip to the grocery store ... this time I cooled information technology in the bucket that was immersed in a large bowl of ice cold water.
05/11/2006
This was very skilful tho next time I'd probably utilise a bit more than sugar in the foam. It seemed that choc sauce was overkill so I just used a blended strawberry sause - piece of cake and actually good. All the same . . . the gelatin separated from the foam (two layers in the finished production)fifty-fifty tho I followed the directions equally written. Any thoughts as to why?
06/29/2011
Not bad recipe! The custard is super silky smooth, creamy a delicious. The flavor isn't boggling, but it's absolutely delicious with fresh fruit...we used strawberries. My gelatin separated a picayune, creating a thin, slightly more opaque layer on acme of the custard. I likewise didn't have whatsoever ramekins, so I poured the mixture into greased muffin cups instead, and filled ix. I had a fleck of a hard time getting the custards to come out of the tins. I inverted the pan onto a cookie sail, and placed a hot, wet towel over the bottoms. This loosened them up, simply they wouldn't slide out of the pan until I used a pocketknife around the edges. My family unit really liked these, and ate them upwardly very quickly. Thanks for sharing the recipe...it'southward a keeper!
02/fifteen/2012
I made this for a dinner party on Valentine's mean solar day. I poured it into silicone muffin pans (12 heart-shaped portions). I was able to turn them all out onto a pan, so move them to plates individually with a metal spatula. I substituted half and half for the cream, and I added an extra 1/3 loving cup considering of the reviewers who complained that it was as well stiff and non flossy enough. It held together but was very soft, and so adjacent fourth dimension maybe I will go far as written and run across how I similar it. I also made a elementary blackberry sauce to get with it: Blackberries + saccharide (to taste), blended and strained. This I poured into a squeeze bottle then I could drizzle designs effectually the edges of the plate. It was very easy, but looked fancy and was delicious!
03/30/2009
Awesome and easy!!! Used my silicon muffin containers and they came out perfect!!! Anybody enjoyed it and asked for me to make it again!!! Thank you for the recipe!!!
02/xv/2012
Easy recipe and tastes fantastic! I substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half, and I would recommend pouring the cooked custard through a sieve to get rid of bubbles/cream before going into the ramekins to set. I as well made a pomegranate coat to go with it.
04/27/2011
This dessert has quickly made information technology to the height of my all-time favorite "get to" recipes for many reasons: 1) People love it! It never fails to impress. 2) It'due south rich, however light. 3) Information technology's like shooting fish in a barrel to brand and always turns out. 3) It tin be made ahead of fourth dimension and volition go along for at to the lowest degree a week. 4) You can make it into any serving size you like. 5) It's good plain, just the garnish options are countless. Who could inquire for more than when it comes to hosting.
ten/10/2010
I added some fruit puree to the summit so that it would offset some of the sweetness. Definitely add vanilla at the very end. I wish I had used the full corporeality of gelatin chosen for considering mine did non prepare properly. Yet, the taste is amazing. I ended up with 4 full/alpine shotglasses worth of dessert. Lovely! ******UPDATE: I've made so many variations on this including calculation pureed fruits to replace some of the foam like pineapple or mango or strawberry or lychee. Yous tin make coconut panna cotta by replacing half the heavy cream with coconut cream. Panna cotta is a dessert that sounds fancy but is so easy to make. Nearly commonly, I've used 1.5oz plastic shot glasses for presentation, and one recipe makes about 24 of these small-scale shot glasses.
02/26/2011
Smashing!!! Love information technology!!! I added cream of coconut while heating the cream....then some toasted coconut on top! yummy!!!
04/25/2009
It tasted wonderful, commencement time around doing information technology and actully first time doing something it wasn't pasta. This Panna Cotta really tasted authentic, and I am from Milan.
07/27/2011
This is a simple, delicious custard. I make the lighter version using fat free half & half, and splenda. I likewise absurd the mixture past sitting the pan in a tub of water ice and stirring until it is room temperature or cooler. To make a fancier display I make small cups past forming and baking filo dough in muffins cups. Then I cascade the cooled custard into the filo dough cups and serve them topped with whatsoever fresh berries or peaches. A light, tasty dessert for hot summer evenings!
03/xix/2012
So easy and then delicious. I think that it could practise with a picayune less sugar and because how rich and decadent heavy foam can exist, using a less fatty milk would probably also exist tasty. I followed the recipe 'as-is' and information technology fix just fine for me and came out great. i used a muffin tin since i didn't have ramekins and so just cutting around the edges and moved around in warm water a little chip. i volition say - ramekins would make the presentation party prettier so i am going to buy.
07/thirty/2007
The recipe is ok as pannacota is e'er delicious but it is sooo fatty! You lot can use instead of cream, milk and you tin can add if it needs more gelatine. And then it will exist healthier.
11/25/2012
This was a really easy recipe that worked out well! I didn't have whatsoever ramekin dishes, so instead I poured the mixture into coffee mugs. I don't know if it helped or not but earlier adding the mixture, I lightly sprayed with canola oil spray. They popped out of their molds really easily and neatly and I served with mango slices and passionfruit lurid drizzled on top.
09/22/2008
Besides much gelatin- information technology was like jello. Possibly 2 and i/two tsps of gelatin would be enough, instead of one tbsp. Too, follow what others accept said - do reduce the sugar. I used the reduced corporeality of ane/3 loving cup and it was nonetheless sweetness enough. Likewise I tin can't sympathise how another user used 'fat gratis half and half' <- I've never heard of that! Also, I used regular one-half and half for this recipe. I'd propose with the good old heavy cream. Information technology's an indulgence, but it definitely delivers that flossy aroma that even half and half can't give.
03/11/2012
Neat recipe. Subbed kokosnoot milk instead of heavy cream. Served with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Great easy and tasty dessert. Hubby said, yous have to make that once again.
05/11/2009
This was wonderful. Equally good as the ones I had in London and Paris. Easy to prepare and quite a showpiece dessert when yous add a little chocolate and raspberry sauce swirled on a plate. Fabricated information technology for Mother'due south Solar day and it was the hit of the day....
11/01/2008
For those of u.s. with Diabetes, use the Splenda and if you are a chocolate fiend like me, add some bitter-sweet chocolate and use the raspberries as a topping. You tin can also use ane/ii tsp almond extract and ane tsp vanilla extract. Fabricated it 1 fourth dimension using 1/2 tsp kokosnoot extract, i/2 tsp rum extract and one/2 tsp vanilla extract. Topped it with a mixture of kiwis and mango with a dash of beloved and some lime juice to brand a syrup. Chef Dave
02/27/2007
Wonderful! Both the texture and tast were perfect and my guests raved. I served it with pureed passion fruit- a tart fruit went really well with it as information technology's rather sweet. I will certainly brand this once again!
12/28/2006
Like shooting fish in a barrel prepare the night before dessert. Looks great for guests on presentation too. My favorite topping thus far is frozen black & rasp- berries.
12/12/2009
Fantastic! We served this with fresh raspberry sauce.
12/07/2009
great recipe. I used half vanilla edible bean half vanilla extract and both my husband and I prefered it that way. Nifty recipe. nosotros served it with a raspberry puree with a flake of sugar and a squeeze of lemon, garnished with mint leaves. What a hitting.
03/20/2010
I recently had panna cotta at a resturant and loved it! I tried this recipe and information technology was wonderful!! Merely like the ane from the resturant. I am going to endeavor using half and one-half for some of the heavy cream to run across if that makes it a petty less dense. I topped information technology with strawberries. I volition definitely make this again!!
02/08/2010
Is panna cotta suppose to be that thick? I've only had panna cotta from a restaurant twice (both times from the same place bc I enjoyed it and so much)--and information technology was much lighter and not nearly every bit dense. I guess I was expecting the same consistency. I did use the recommended amout of gelatin and I may cut it down next time to get the right consistency. I guess I was expecting a consistency more along the lines of creme brulee. Am I wrong on this? Thanks. Oh--and I made a pomergranate syrup to peak the dessert off with--and I think that distracted me from the texture a bit.
09/12/2011
My hubby absolutely love this! I use less sugar than this recipe calls for. It'southward still sugariness enough and yummy! Thanks for shring this piece of cake-to-make yet great recipe!
04/20/2007
I also had never tried Panna cotta until I made it but decided to give it a endeavour since it sounded and so good and was so easy to set up. The simply thing that was a bit off was that the gelatin did separate a scrap from the cream when set. (only this was not even noticeable really) Am I so happy I decided to accept this take a chance! This may easily plough into the dessert that may become a staple in my home. I made this for a group of guys who would non stop raving aobut it. Even my boyfriend who hates custard decided to give it a try and loved it! I topped it with fresh mangos which added a perfect balance to the creamy texture. I will try it with different extracts and topping next fourth dimension every bit well.
04/23/2007
WOW!! This is soooo piece of cake and soooooo good!!!! Nosotros had it with strawberries on top YUMMMMMMY!! We also had it plainly YUMMMMY!!! A definite keeper Cheers so much for this recipe!!!
07/05/2007
This was fantastic and very easy to make. The only change I made was to use whole milk instead of skim because that is all I had on mitt. I also took another reviewer'due south communication and dipped them in hot water for a minute earlier running a pocketknife effectually the edge and turning over. They looked cute with strawberries drizzled over the tiptop and tasted simply as wonderful. Thank you for the recipe!
12/21/2010
This recipe is astonishing and information technology was so easy to make!
08/22/2006
DON'T FORGET TO Add together THE VANILLA Excerpt!!! (every bit some ppl have noted) proficient affair i read the reviews first, otherwise i would've forgotten it. i put it in during the final minute. don't know when is the best time though. but information technology turned out smashing!!!! i love these simple recipes that come out tasting as good as food from 5-star restaurants!!!
04/26/2011
What a wonderful, sinful dessert! I used ii cups heavy foam and 1/two cup one-half & one-half because I did not have enough heavy foam on hand. I substituted approximately 1/iii loving cup granulated Splenda for the sugar, as my husbands parents are diabetic. When the foam and sugar began to boil, I grated some fresh nutmeg and I poured and cooled in champagne glasses (not flutes) with a fresh strawberry cut and fanned beyond the tiptop. So practiced!
09/09/2010
This was such an easy recipe and a good basis for many other custom versions. I've fabricated information technology with two% milk instead of skim and it turned out fine. I merely had two c of cream, so used ane/two c of half and half. I like how y'all can kind of "mix and match" the diary and cutting back on the fatty if you wanted to.
07/xx/2011
I prefer to apply only whipping cream and don't add the milk: isn't depression-fat, simply the sense of taste is very good. In place of the vanilla excerpt I use the seeds: I add together them immediately, set with the foam and the sugar. And for topping? Usually I garnish with caramel.
11/09/2008
I've never had Panna Cotta before, just I was very impressed with this recipe. My only trouble was with how sweet information technology is. I'll be cutting the carbohydrate dorsum side by side time. Edit; I'm going to take to up my rating to 5 stars. On the first day afterward refrigeration the panna cotta is extremely sweet. However, if you permit it sit covered for another 24-hour interval or two (covered) in the fridge the sweet goes way down and the texture gets much amend. It only needs time to settle.
12/31/2004
It was easy and good. Side by side time I volition add alittle more milk - the consistency was a piffling more solid than I had expected. Served it with fresh raspberries - information technology was yummy!
02/26/2009
This was very tasty and easy, nonetheless I substituted the milk and heavy cream with fat complimentary one-half and half as other reviewers suggested and it did not ready probably. It would not concur its course even after an entire day in the fridge.
08/07/2009
Fantabulous! Also used a compression of salt, used real vanilla edible bean and added a boysenberry topping.Yummy!
07/07/2010
Absolutely astonishing. I don't bother to use skim milk; once you're using heavy cream, the calories from fat just don't matter. Also, I find that this makes eight muffin cups worth. I've tried topping this with lemon curd, or with blackberry syrup (eddy down blackberry wine), simply it'southward pretty crawly by itself, too.
03/fifteen/2011
Had leftover heavy cream which I didn't desire to waste. Very piece of cake and tasty recipe for Panna Cotta. I recollect when making information technology again I will employ the pulp from a vanilla bean for added flavor. Plated with hot fudge sauce and strawberry coulis (12 ounce packet frozen whole strawberries, 1/ii cup water, three/4 cup granulated saccharide. Boil for 8 minutes then puree in blender and strain if desired).
02/04/2007
I followed this recipe exactly; WOW! Information technology was just fantastic! Information technology was flossy and had a wonderful vanilla season to information technology! I will probably use a little less sugar next time, perhaps a i/3 of a cup. Otherwise, this recipe is definitely in my permanent listing of desserts. Information technology was incredibly easy and incredibly quick, and the end results were both satisfying and yummy! Yous can't go incorrect with this recipe. I finished the panna cotta off with a raspberry preserve/water mixture and spread the sauce over it. My family unit was impressed! I will take the advice of some of the other reviewers every bit well and use real whole vanilla beans next time for an even more impressive presentation!
01/11/2012
I was then nervous nigh making this. Really because I'd never made information technology earlier and seeing others make and seeing on cooking shows...surely it's not that hard. And it wasn't. I think the simply thing I was worried almost was the gelatin setting up. And it did beautifully. The flavor was nice. The thickness of it was soft only even so firm. I can run into me making once more with different flavored extracts. The 1 matter, I won't do is try and unstick it from the vessel I put information technology in. That part I was worried about coming out of the bowls in 1 piece. I'll skip that dramatics. It's prettier looking in a burgendy all the same drinking glass topped with fruit whatever day.
02/13/2011
Amazingly easy to brand, and very, very tasty. I volition be making this many times again.
07/28/2008
It was all right. It was too sweet for me, and something was missing. It didn't taste like the panna cotta I've had in Italy.
02/21/2012
Splendid recipe! The but thing I inverse was the extract, to lemon excerpt. The consistency was perfect. I had to brand it in one big bowl because I realized I didn't have any fiddling ones of any kind. i simply cutting information technology in pieces and they came out without falling apart.
06/17/2009
Excellent and like shooting fish in a barrel. I substitute canned evaporated milk-- either depression fat or fatty free-- for both the milk and cream.
03/04/2007
Splendid! Served with hot fudge and sprinkled with sifted powdered sugar. It looked elegant and tasted corking.
04/17/2012
Nifty dessert. I add strawberry sauce to it. I utilise about 200 grams of strawberry, mix with two tablespoons of sugar. Put them to an electrical blender. The excellent fresh sauce comes out in seconds. It is such a tasteful and cute dessert. I really love information technology.
02/16/2007
This was wonderful, so like shooting fish in a barrel. I did add together a little actress milk and cut dorsum on the cream a bit to brand up for it and the texture was perfect. Yummy.
12/19/2013
Easy and a definite hit!
02/14/2016
This was such as like shooting fish in a barrel and unproblematic recipe for my absolute favorite dessert! Information technology came out perfect texture-wise but it was likewise sweet even with sugar in raw instead of white tabular array saccharide. I too substituted heavy cream with half & one-half to be salubrious, and it came out perfect. Since I didn't use skim milk, I made sure the mix was cold when adding the gelatin in to avoid possible separation. Overall I loved it and will definitely make it once again. I'll effort to add some lemon zest or fresh vanilla bean, and most importantly, less sugar!
02/22/2010
This was keen! I served information technology with a raspberry sauce and anybody enjoyed it! I volition exist making it once more!
01/25/2009
I take made this several times & information technology turns out AWESOME! Usually I use the 2 cup container of whipping foam & add enough milk to makeup 2 1/2 cups. I utilise whatever milk I have on hand for the gelatin. I use vino goblets & make iv servings (only 2 of us). I've used the chocolate sauce (with suggested alterations) from this site & frozen raspberries. No fail recipe. It'south so much better than store bought!
01/22/2005
This dessert was very piece of cake and very tasty! I served it for company and the scraped their ramekins cleaned! I served it with strawberries and chocolate fudge. I really liked the chocolate with it. Keen recipe!
ten/22/2007
Updated review: I tried the "cooling down using ice water" trick and badda bing! No more separated gelatin on the bottom of the ramekins. This panna cotta recipe is the best! My husband is already asking for more than!!!
08/10/2011
IT WAS GREEEEAAAT!! I had it at my schoolhouse i time and I was drastic to have more! This is a great recipe! :D My sister decided to make her own too afterwards :D I tried mixing in some blueberry sauce into a few and it turned out alright, but still looking for the perfect strawberry sauce to go with it. I wish I had somehow greased the pan though, it ended up sticking and not looking very pretty. If you get a spoon and scrape information technology right though its non too hard xD Woo! Deeeelicious.
03/09/2006
This was easy to brand, and the sense of taste was great. Served it with hot fudge sauce from hawkeye make (posted on this site) which blended perfectly.
03/02/2015
This is heavenly! Nifty with strawberry sauce. Strangely, this dessert seems to have a sort of calming effect.
04/08/2012
Wow, this was far too sugariness for my gustation and information technology merely tasted like sweetened cream. Had to add more milk to even it out, other than that, it's quite nice!
05/27/2009
Used this recipe as the base for a layered fruit tort and it was a hit. Will try again every bit normal panna cotta presently.
x/22/2009
Very easy, very good and then fun to make. I substituted evaporated milk for the cream and you tin definitely taste information technology but I didn't mind information technology at all. I'll try to utilise cream next fourth dimension and see if I like it better although, I think this could hands turn into a very low fatty dessert. Since all you need is the gelatin to harden this, I call back I'll become with either fat free evaporated milk or calorie-free cream adjacent fourth dimension. It didn't taste very sugary so I'll leave the amount the same, and maybe use Splenda instead. I besides used 2% milk with great results. Concluding thing I did was drizzle sugar free hershey's syrup over the top. Yum! I never had these before, my hubby and I had a skillful express mirth at how much they jiggle like jello. If you want to invert these, put them into custard cups and run along the edges with a pocketknife, so run your knife to the bottom of the cup, invert quickly and information technology will flop onto your plate. I made this recipe twice this weekend! I used fat complimentary half and half and splenda and it came out wonderful. I added a spoonful of cherry pie filling on height when i served it. Wonderful diabetic recipe & my teenage son loved information technology also. We are going to effort a nutella sauce drizzled over the top next time! Thank you for a great...like shooting fish in a barrel recipe. I made it again & added a nuance of almond extract and 2tbs instant espresso...delicious as always

Absolutely delicious ... and then very piece of cake! I took the proposition of another reviewer and substituted nonfat one-half-and-half for all the liquid, and it resulted in a custard with the most corrupt oral cavity-feel. Swell summertime dessert when coupled with a few fresh berries ... and easy on the waistline, too!

Good stuff, though I changed the recipe quite a bit. I used half and half instead of heavy cream, and I add 1-2 tbsp of baking cocoa powder to give it a chocolate flavor (it settles out though, so the top ane/4 inch or so is brown and has a strong rich chocolatey flavour and the balance has a subtle flavor)

Smashing recipe! I added just a couple of pinches of flaked salt to cut the sweetness a fleck. Served with a fresh raspberry coulis and the combination of sweet and tart was only perfect. I can't look play around with variations on this fantastic recipe. Well washed.

Thank you for a good and like shooting fish in a barrel to follow recipe! The first time I made this, I followed the recipe exactly except I used regular milk instead of skim. Then I just topped it with fresh strawberries. We loved it! The panna cotta itself tastes delicious and is not overly sweet. Y'all don't even need to pinnacle information technology with anything if yous desire something simpler. The second fourth dimension around, I used Thai coconut milk and topped some with a lychee sauce and lychees and some with a mango sauce and fresh mangoes and some fresh Mint. Yuuuum!!! I don't call back the coconut milk really did much to change the flavor though, it only contradistinct the creaminess a bit. Adjacent time I'll try coconut extract instead. I've also tried it with almond extract and I loved that flavour equally well. The flavor combinations and toppings yous can practice with this are endless! I will exist making this again and again! Thanks!! :)
